This describes what information Routiful collects and how it's used.
What's collected
- Rep account info — your name, email, and role, from your Microsoft sign-in.
- Client/spa records — business name, owner, contact details, address, tier, and visit history that a rep enters.
- Appointment data — dates, times, and locations of scheduled visits and trainings.
- Location data — addresses are geocoded (converted to map coordinates) to calculate driving routes and times.
- Mileage — calculated from actual driven appointments, for expense/tax purposes.
How it's used
Solely to run the app's core features: scheduling, routing, reminders, and mileage tracking. Nothing collected here is sold or shared with advertisers.
Third parties involved
- Microsoft — for sign-in, and, if connected, calendar and email sending.
- Amazon Web Services (Location Service) — for geocoding addresses and calculating driving routes/times.
Each only receives what's needed to perform that specific function (e.g. an address to geocode it).
Data retention
Client and appointment records are kept as long as the account is active. A rep can delete a client record at any time, which removes it from the app.
